American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg position requiring a GA or compact RN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities
Work in a hospital Renal Med/Surg unit serving adult to geriatric patients
Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
Patient ratio is 1:5-6 with 49 rooms and an average daily census of 48
Epic EMR experience required; Pyxis and SBAR systems also used
Floating to other units may be required
Every other weekend shifts are expected
No on‑call responsibilities
Provide nursing care for adult and geriatric renal med/surg patients
Navy blue scrubs are required
First‑time travelers are welcome to apply
No blocked scheduling allowed
Maximum of 7 days of requested time off permitted; no RTO allowed during first week of assignment
Expect to work assigned major holidays per facility guidelines
Return travelers who were previously restricted must complete a successful assignment outside Piedmont before returning
No travel pairs will be assigned to the same shift on the same unit
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
Full compliance is required prior to start due to a bi‑weekly orientation schedule
Requirements
Active GA or compact RN license required
Current BLS certification required
Minimum of 1 year recent Med/Surg RN experience required
Epic charting system experience required
Two supervisory references are required for consideration
Applicants must not have worked as perm or PRN at any Piedmont facility within the past year
