Tax Manager – Public Accounting
Location: Atlanta, GA | Hybrid | Full-Time
Base pay range
$120,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr
We are recruiting on behalf of a respected mid‑sized public accounting firm for an experienced Tax Manager. This position offers the opportunity to lead complex tax engagements and provide strategic guidance to clients across diverse areas, including high‑net‑worth individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates, trusts, and gift tax matters.
Responsibilities
Review and prepare complex tax returns for individuals, businesses, and estates.
Mentor and develop junior team members.
Maintain accurate workpapers and ensure compliance.
Communicate effectively with engagement leaders and clients.
Conduct tax research and stay current on tax law changes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Active CPA license (required).
10+ years of tax experience in public accounting (preferred).
Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Experience with Thomson Reuters UltraTax CS (a plus).
