Brief Description
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of products and materials for operations. This role manages the warehouse team, drives operational efficiency, maintains inventory accuracy, and ensures compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the warehouse team to meet customer delivery and warehousing requirements.
- Plan and prioritize daily work schedules based on shipment and production plans.
- Oversee the receipt, storage, handling, and shipping of finished and purchased products.
- Ensure accurate inventory control, including daily checks, cycle counts, and spot inventories.
- Maintain storage location files and inventory records using ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Identify and report slow-moving or obsolete products; arrange for removal as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, lead safety meetings, and promote a safe work environment.
- Resolve warehouse-related customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Production, Planning, and Sales teams to optimize material flow and minimize handling.
- Support plant-wide improvement projects and operational excellence initiatives.
- Manage and resolve vendor receipt discrepancies and transactional issues.
- Act as a key SAP user to support accurate storage, movement, and distribution of materials.
- Perform other reasonably related business duties as assigned by management guidelines.

Qualifications (Required)
- High School or GED diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in warehouse or logistics operations, including team leadership.
- Experience managing a warehouse team in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels of an organization.
- Proven ability to implement process improvements and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Strong decision‑making skills and ability to resolve operational issues independently.
Other Valued Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (Preferred)
- Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Experience in the separation industry.
- International logistics and vendor management experience.
- Understanding of company product codes and terminology.
- Tact and human relations skills in dealing with supervisors, planning department, and sales personnel.
Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions
- Work is primarily performed in an office setting, with regular visits to production and logistics areas.
- Exposure to dust, fumes, high heat/cold, and noisy conditions during warehouse and vendor site visits.
- Requires standing, walking, climbing stairs, kneeling, stooping, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and reaching.
- May manually handle, repack, or restack pallets of finished product; may operate forklift truck.
- Must be able to operate standard office equipment (e.g., phone, computer, copier).
- Requires manual dexterity, visual acuity, coordination, and the ability to work extended hours as needed.
- Must communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in writing.

- Travel may be required throughout North America and Europe (5% or less)
