Support the Director of Operations at the respective distribution center by directing warehouse activities and overseeing all aspects of the daily production and order fulfillment.

Major Responsibilities

Operational Excellence

  • Establish operational procedures for incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and maintaining current warehouse inventory. Lead and measure all daily processes to ensure order fulfillment and production excellence.
  • Partner with the Director of Operations to resolve daily challenges and ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment, managing shipments ranging from 2,200 to 10,000 lines per day or $136K to $1.2M in revenue.
  • When applicable, act as the Certified Designated Representative (CDR) ensuring accurate procedures, recordkeeping, and compliance with the State of Florida’s Pharmacy Practice Act.

Human Capital Management

  • Support all human resource processes at the local facility, including sourcing, staffing, performance management, compensation administration, and training & development.
  • Create a culture that promotes positive employee relations and handle confidential information appropriately.

Expense Management

  • Oversee daily and ongoing expenses, prepare work orders for repairs, requisition equipment replacements, schedule freight, and resolve freight discrepancies.

Inventory Management

  • Monitor processes to ensure correct movement of product from trailer to racks to shipping, and manage Vendor‑Managed Inventory (VMI).

Sales Support

  • Assist local sales representatives and leadership to deliver outstanding customer service, addressing service failures and customer concerns, and resolving complaints through the OSI process.

Safety And Hygiene

  • Ensure safe workplace practices, maintain proper housekeeping, and guide the safety committee.

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred; relevant work experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • 3–5 years of supervisory experience with demonstrated abilities in personnel and warehouse operations.
  • Preferred: 5 years of business experience, including several years in a distribution center environment.
  • When applicable, Certified as a CDR by the State of Florida.

  • Demonstrated ability to model Active Listening and remain approachable.
  • Experience in multicultural environments and excellent presentation skills.
  • High sense of urgency, personal energy, stamina, and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Integrity and skill in navigating complex situations with multiple decision makers.
  • Experience in customer relations and fostering positive employee relations.

The Anticipated Salary Range For This Position

$96,200.00 – $144,560.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
