Key Responsibilities

• Setting up a new provider
  Lead the selection process with logistics purchasing, document requirements, develop business cases, and facilitate final contractual agreements.
• Contract review
  Conduct regular performance reviews with the provider, covering organizational changes, business trends, KPI performance, process improvement, and operational issues.
• Operational reviews & issues
  Resolve operational issues between the provider and PHINIA, escalating to the North American Warehouse & Distribution Manager as needed.
• Performance monitoring & improvement
  Publish and review contractual KPIs monthly, support corrective actions, and drive process improvements with financial impact analysis.
• Cost improvement
  Support cost improvement initiatives across logistics spend, working with stakeholders to evaluate and implement improvements.
• Change management
  Lead business cases and impact analyses for provider scope changes, ensuring timely, budget‑conscious execution with minimal disruption.
• Inventory control
  Manage provider execution of inventory cycle counts, reconciliations, and adjustments in line with PHINIA policies.
• Process audits
  Plan and execute annual audits of provider procedures, maintaining evidence and action plans for any findings.
• Invoice validation
  Validate invoices, ensure correct rates and charges, and collaborate with finance for cost performance reporting.
• Cross‑functional support
  Act as backup for Business Analyst and Senior Logistics & Operations Specialist, coordinating inbound/outbound transportation and maintaining continuity during absences.

What We’re Looking For

• Self‑motivated, well‑organized team player who thrives under pressure.
• Daily attendance required at the Plainfield distribution center.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of 3PLs, freight carriers, and equipment providers.
• Experience with Warehouse, Transport, and Customs operations.
• Familiarity with WMS/ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• 5+ years of warehouse management experience.
• Project management experience.
• Experience in Lean techniques and problem solving.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent workplace experience.
