Responsibilities
- Prepare receiving paperwork for product to be checked in
- Prepare store invoices and billing of store deliveries
- Monitor trip leave times
- Provide customer service assistance to customers, drivers and vendors
- General clerical duties
- Attend work regularly and on time as scheduled, and maintain an acceptable attendance level
- Plan and prioritize workload to ensure that department needs are met as well as the overall organizational needs of the company
- Follow instructions promptly and efficiently, taking initiative when appropriate
- Respond promptly to e‑mails and telephone calls, demonstrating consideration and courtesy
- Communicate frequently with supervisor to alert the status of ongoing operations pertaining to assigned area of responsibility
- Perform various logistic department related functions and assignments in an accurate and timely manner, as required by the circumstances and/or by the supervisor
Qualifications
- 10 key skills
- Ability to work in fast paced, warehouse environment
- Ability to work independently with limited direction
- Detail oriented
- Excellent customer service skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office – specifically Excel
- Prior warehouse clerical experience
- Planning and organizational skills required
- Knowledge of warehousing functions required
- Understanding of warehouse equipment operations and safety issues
