Job Title: Administrative Assistant I
Department: 00958 – DFPM-Administration
Location: Salt Lake City, UT – Campus
Schedule: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Day shift (40 hrs/week)
Pay Range: $17.00–$21.00 per hour
FLSA Code: Nonexempt (Full Time)
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to supervisor/department to ensure smooth office operations.
- Create and maintain files, compile reports, manage, store, and disseminate information, ensuring security and compliance.
- Assist in planning department activities and manage meeting calendars.
- Track expenses and inventory, monitor and order supplies, schedule maintenance repairs.
- Manage word processing and data entry tasks.
- Stay knowledgeable of department policies; may handle sensitive or confidential contacts.
- Take meeting minutes and maintain classroom/conference room schedules.
- Prioritize tasks and determine order of importance.
Minimum Qualifications
Education / Experience: One year of higher education can substitute for one year of directly related experience. Required: little or no related experience for Level I.
Job Levels: In the support track: Level I requires little or no experience; Level II requires at least one year of related experience.
