Overview: River Oaks Dance, a boutique dance studio in Houston, Texas, is dedicated to delivering exceptional dance education and experiences to our students and their families. We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and friendly, family-oriented individual to serve as our Administrative Assistant. This engaging role is perfect for someone who thrives on building community, managing events, and driving engagement through in person and online communication efforts.
Key Responsibilities
The Administrative Assistant will play a critical role as an ambassador of our studio, embodying its culture to ensure every student and parent feels welcomed and valued. This individual will excel in communication, community-building, and portraying key messaging to our dance families.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Daily studio operations
- Face-to-face and written communication with parents
- Providing tours of the studio
- Opening and closing the studio
- Assist the operations manager with program planning
- Loving the kids and making them feel special
- Making announcements to students and informing parents at pickup about upcoming promos and events at the studio
- Being the studio’s biggest cheerleader
- Making retail sales and inputting inventory
- Keeping lobby tidy and professional
Required Software Knowledge
- Google Worksapce (Docs, Sheets, Gmail)
- Square for Retail
- Studio Pro (will provide training)

Hours
Approximately 24 hours over the course of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and possibly Saturdays. This will become a full time position for the right person.
Compensation
starting at $20 per hour.
