Description

In this role you will be required to understand Business Requirements and expectations, and translate Acceptance Criteria to Test scenarios and Test cases. Review Test cases with Product Owner to understand the testing feasibility and ensure 100% test coverage and identify/communicate exceptions – maintain traceability.

Responsibilities

• Execute Functional/UAT and Regression tests
• Defect Management
• Demo test results to Product owner and team
• Ensure testing meets audit requirements
• Communicate test status including testing progress, defects, risk and potential impacts; raises issues or concerns in a timely manner
• Participate/Support Unit testing and provide feedback to the developers
• Ensure DevOps principles are followed where applicable for testing

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS or related field, or 3+ years of experience as a QA Tester owning test plans, scripts and test execution
• Demonstrated understanding of testing techniques and Agile methodology
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Flexibility to learn and adapt to changes in procedures and work environment
• Skilled in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
• Creating and executing database queries for data mining and reporting purpose
• Ability to work independently and deliver under tight timelines

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience working in Migration projects and in a Program Setup
• Previous experience with testing tools and automated testing
• Experience in ADO or other Agile lifecycle management tool
