Job Overview: The Quality Assurance Tester for RAC Modernization will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. This position involves understanding business requirements, translating acceptance criteria into test scenarios, and executing various testing processes to ensure compliance with audit requirements and DevOps principles.

Responsibilities:

• Understand business requirements and expectations.
• Translate acceptance criteria into test scenarios and test cases.
• Review test cases with the Product Owner to assess testing feasibility.
• Ensure 100% test coverage and identify/communicate exceptions while maintaining traceability.
• Execute functional, UAT, and regression tests.
• Manage defects and ensure proper documentation.
• Demo test results to the Product Owner and team.
• Ensure testing meets audit requirements.
• Communicate test status, including progress, defects, risks, and potential impacts, and raise issues or concerns promptly.
• Participate in/support unit testing and provide feedback to developers.
• Ensure DevOps principles are followed where applicable for testing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field, or 3 years of experience as a QA Tester owning test plans, scripts, and test execution.
• Demonstrated understanding of testing techniques and Agile methodology.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Flexibility to learn and adapt to changes in procedures and work environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Experience creating and executing database queries for data mining and reporting purposes.
• Ability to work independently and deliver under tight timelines.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working in migration projects and program setups.
• Previous experience with testing tools and automated testing.
• Experience in ADO or other Agile lifecycle management tools.

Pay Range: $45 – $50

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
