What You Will Do

  • Provide tax advice, full‑service return preparation, tax calculations, and product/software support to customers using sound professional judgment.
  • Maintain sensitive customer information responsibly, reliably, and safely.
  • Use government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to find and deliver accurate answers in plain language.
  • Interact with customers via state‑of‑the‑art video communication software, documenting all interactions to maintain accurate records.
  • Interact with customers and team members professionally while adhering to and promoting Intuit’s operating values.

What You Need

  • 3+ years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120‑S) for at least 20 clients per season, using commercial tax preparation software.
  • Active unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney.
  • Minimum of 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience, with at least 30 returns per tax year in a tax practice or retail setting (strongly preferred).
  • Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days.
  • Bookkeeping experience that supports tax preparation is strongly preferred.
  • Experience preparing business tax returns for service‑industry customers is preferred.
  • Possession or ability to obtain any related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
  • Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
  • Commitment to a minimum schedule of 20 hours per week in 4‑hour shift increments throughout the tax season.
  • Working knowledge of Circular 230.
  • Proficiency with technology and solid knowledge of computer operations and software.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact via video and audio tools in a professional, friendly, and confident manner.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Critical thinking, problem‑solving, research skills, and determination.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Internet connection that meets Intuit security criteria.

This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits in accordance with our applicable plans and programs.
