The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations.

What You Will Do

  • Help customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products with sound professional judgment and in an excellent and timely manner.
  • Maintain sensitive customer, confidential, and proprietary business information responsibly.
  • Use government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to find and deliver the right answers using everyday language.
  • Conduct virtual, customer‑facing interactions via Intuit’s video communication software, documenting interactions to maintain accurate records.
  • Interact with customers and team members professionally while adhering to Intuit’s operating values.

What You Need

  • Strong business tax preparation experience with at least 3 years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120‑S) for a minimum of 20 clients per season.
  • Active unrestricted credential: EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney.
  • Minimum of 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience, with at least 30 returns per tax year in a tax practice or retail setting.
  • Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days.
  • Bookkeeping experience with books to tax preparation is strongly preferred.
  • Experience preparing business tax returns for service‑industry customers is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to obtain or possess any related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
  • Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
  • Commitment to a minimum schedule of at least 20 hours per week in 4‑hour shift increments throughout the tax season.
  • Working knowledge of Circular 230.
  • Proficiency with technology and solid knowledge of computer operations and software.
  • Strong customer service skills—interacting with customers through video and audio tools professionally, friendly, and confidently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Critical thinking, problem‑solving, research skills, and determination.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to obtain an internet connection that meets Intuit Security criteria.

Intuit offers a competitive compensation package with a pay‑for‑performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range varies by region as follows: Bay Area California $40.10 – $46.20, Southern California $40.10 – $46.20, Colorado $38.20 – $43.90, Hawaii $40.10 – $46.20, Illinois $38.20 – $43.90, Maryland $38.20 – $43.90, Massachusetts $40.10 – $46.20, Minnesota $34.40 – $39.56, New Jersey $40.10 – $46.20, New York $40.10 – $46.20, Ohio $34.40 – $39.56, Vermont $38.20 – $43.90, Washington $40.10 – $46.20, Washington DC $38.20 – $43.90. The position is eligible for cash bonuses, equity rewards, and benefits, in accordance with Intuit’s compensation and benefits plans. Pay is based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. Intuit conducts regular pay equity comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender.
