Receptionist/Administrator
Brooklyn, NY • $60,000–$65,000 + Benefits
We are seeking a high-level, experienced Receptionist/Administrator to serve as the front-facing and administrative backbone of a busy plumbing and heating company. This role requires strong organizational skills, experience in accounting support, and polished customer communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls and emails, directing inquiries to the appropriate department
- Handle billing, invoicing, and accounts receivable processes
- Maintain accurate financial and customer records
- Support basic accounting functions, including data entry and reconciliations
- Provide professional, efficient customer service to clients and vendors
- Assist with general office administration and daily operational support
Requirements
- Prior experience as a receptionist, office administrator, or similar role
- Experience with billing, invoicing, and accounts receivable
- QuickBooks experience preferred
- Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Managerial mindset with the ability to take ownership and prioritize tasks
