Salary

Hourly Range: $26.52 - $39.50 plus benefits per Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Duties / Responsibilities / Physical Requirements

• Safely operate heavy equipment (skid steers, loaders, excavators, etc.)
• Use biter bucket to disassemble buildings & structures
• Excavate and grade dirt, fill & or debris
• Unload & load materials or equipment from platforms or trailers
• Install & or remove loader attachments
• Coordinate use of heavy equipment to separate various materials
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning and lubrication of equipment
• Climb onto, into and out of equipment using ladder
• Walk and work on uneven surfaces
• Use bodily coordination & dexterity of hands and feet
• Work productively in personal protective equipment throughout shift in all weather conditions
• Perform all work in accordance with Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies
• Meet regular and predictable performance standards

Education / Experience

Candidates must have a HS diploma or equivalent and 1‑2 years of experience operating equipment or as an apprentice.

• Responsible and safety minded
• Knowledge of using multiple equipment types (hammer, shear, grapple, and/or bucket)
• Ability to make visible distinctions among various debris & scrap materials
