This position reports to the Telerecruitment Supervisor and Manager of Telerecruitment and is ultimately responsible for securing appointments for the fixed sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily telephone recruitment of past and potential blood donors, accountable for achieving individual, department, and company blood collection goals through efficient donor scheduling.
• Provide donor customer service—answer questions, comments, and inquiries; maintain excellent public relations through telephone, verbal, and written communications; educate donors concerning donating and eligibility criteria.
• Maintain accurate and updated donor data, ensure correct documentation, quality assurance, quality control, document accuracy and completeness, and follow procedures in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Market company-sponsored events to donors—giveaways, raffles, sponsor and community blood drives.
• Participate in department incentive programs.

Qualifications

• Ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of people.
• Prior sales phone experience with above‑average close rates.
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Goal‑oriented, enthusiastic, self‑motivated, good listener, well‑organized, and able to work independently.
• Prior experience in a call center or similar environment is ideal.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs; some travel to blood drives and fixed sites may be required.
• Basic computer skills required.

Education

High school diploma or general equivalency required.

Schedule

Sunday through Saturday 9:00 am to 1:00 pm; Monday through Thursday 4:45 pm to 8:45 pm.

Compensation

Proposed rate of pay is $17.82 per hour.
