Duties & Responsibilities
- Owns the full production cycle of the HR Newsletter, released every other month.
- Designs the layout, visual style, and overall creative direction of each issue.
- Integrates content provided by HR Marketing Managers and ensures accuracy, clarity, and brand alignment.
- Coordinates review, edits, approvals, and final distribution.
- Maintains a consistent look, tone, and messaging across all newsletter editions.
- Maintains and updates the HR Insider page with current and relevant HR-related information.
- Ensures timely posting of important dates, events, open houses, announcements, and other content for employee visibility.
- Works collaboratively with HR partners to gather updated information and implement edits promptly.
- Partners with HR teams to coordinate ordering and production of employee giveaways.
- Designs artwork, logos, or graphics that will be used on promotional items.
- Ensures that all giveaway designs align with organizational branding and event-specific themes.
- Assists the HR Marketing Managers with creating flyers, posters, and digital graphics for HR events, programs, and recruitment efforts.
- Designs recruitment aids, signage, social media graphics, and campaign materials as needed.
- Provides creative input that elevates the visibility and engagement of HR initiatives.
- Supports HR Marketing Managers with additional design, communications, or marketing-related tasks.
- Assists with photography, content preparation, and other visual communication needs as assigned.
- Provides guidance to team members on design-related tasks and project priorities as needed.
- May lead and coordinate activities of the HR Marketing Team in the absence of the Director, ensuring continuity of operations, project progression, and workflow management.
Minimum Qualifications
- A baccalaureate degree in engineering, architecture, landscape architecture, business administration or public administration from an accredited college or university; and one year of full-time satisfactory experience in project management work, such as planning, administrating, managing, coordinating or expediting for engineering and/or architectural and/or landscape architectural projects; or
- A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and five years of experience as described in 1 above; or
- A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent plus any combination of the experience and/or college education as described in 1 above to make up the equivalent of five years of education and experience. One year of credit will be given for each 30 semester credits of college education leading to a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, architecture, landscape architecture, business administration or in public administration.
Special Note: Experience which is primarily of a design nature is not acceptable towards meeting the minimum requirements.
Department Preferences
- 3+ years of experience in graphic design, digital media, or visual communications preferred.
