Payroll/HR Specialist – VIP Hospitality Group
We are seeking a Payroll/HR Specialist to join our team in Portland, OR. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing payroll, maintaining employee records, and assisting with various HR functions.
Base Pay Range
$60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
Responsibilities
- Process payroll for a multi‑EIN company on a bi‑monthly basis
- Maintain accurate employee records and files
- Assist with new hire onboarding and orientation
- Write job descriptions and recruit for positions across the company
- Collaborate with the HR Director to craft and write policy, SOPs, and train employees
- Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits
- Collaborate with General Managers on employee engagement activities
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in payroll and HR
- Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Willing to travel to locations throughout the Northwest as needed
