Role Purpose
HR Consultantwillsupport strategic and operational HR initiatives across the organization. This role will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, providing guidance in areas such as employee relations, compliance, performance management, organizational development, and policy implementation.TheHR Consultant willensure the plantmaintainsa positive work environment by proactively addressing employee concerns, fostering open communication, and promotingcompany culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate and coordinate various HR tasks through consistent application of standardized processes (i.e.hiring, onboarding, etc.)
- Implement process controls that ensure accuracy while adhering to company policies / regulations.
- Prioritize ongoing tasks such as managing employee data updates or responding to inquiries from employees / managers.
- Recommend / implementprocessimprovements that contribute to increased efficiency while enhancingtheemployeeexperience.
- Leverage systems data and analytical skills to evaluateissuesand implement corrective action
- Collaborate cross-functionally withCorning COEsonHR programs and deployment plans
- EnsureallSOPsare complete,accurate,andupdated regularly based on policy changes / process enhancements.
- AssistPlant HRManagerwith reporting requirementstied to metrics that drive positive business results.
- Monitor automated systems / tools usedforshared services operations;identifytrends requiring intervention / escalation where applicable.
Experiences / Education - Required
- Bachelor’s degree inHumanResources,BusinessAdministration, ora relatedfield (or relevant work experience).
- At least 3+ years of progressive HR experience (generalist / specialist).
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, processes, and employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing HR documents, records, and data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.
- Ability tomaintainprofessionalism, handle sensitive situations, and build relationships with employees at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to HR administration and recordkeeping.

The range for this position is $79,519.00-$109,339.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
