Summary of Job Duties
The Executive Assistant provides administrative support to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Research and the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Research Compliance, maintaining calendars, scheduling appointments, arranging travel, and coordinating meetings and event planning. The role also performs general office management functions, including ordering supplies, requesting services, completing requisitions, renewing memberships, and assisting with travel arrangements for staff housed within the Division.
Responsibilities
- Maintain calendars, schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, and arrange travel for senior research leaders.
- Perform general office management functions: order supplies, request services, complete requisitions, renew memberships, and assist with travel arrangements.
- Monitor financial records and expenditures, working with the Divisional Chief of Staff and financial analyst to determine budgets in accordance with division spending.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree plus three years of administrative or related experience.
- High School diploma/GED plus seven years of administrative or related experience required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Experience in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe).
- Experience in Workday.
