Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Business Intelligence (MSBI) tools and .NET framework technologies. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to gather requirements, provide insights, and deliver actionable data solutions that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Create and manage data models and reports utilizing SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Design and implement web applications using the .NET framework, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Work closely with business analysts and users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring data security and integrity.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing business intelligence and .NET applications.
• Participate in code reviews, ensure best practices are adhered to, and maintain documentation of work performed.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose improvements to existing systems and processes.

Skills Required

• Strong proficiency in MSBI tools including SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.
• Solid experience in .NET development, preferably with C# and ASP.NET.
• Good understanding of relational databases, particularly Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science or similar field.

Additional Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements analysis.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements.
• Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages.
• Test and deploy applications and systems.
• Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns.
• Create and manage data warehouses, ETL processes, and data cubes.
• Write complex SQL queries.
• Design, develop, and maintain MSBI solutions using SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.
• Develop and deploy reports using SSRS.
• Optimize and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Provide technical support and resolve any issues related to SSDT solutions.
