Location and Availability
Travel up to 30% and must reside in DFW, TX or Philadelphia, PA areas.
Approximately 500,000 sq ft of facility space, including hard and soft services.

About The Role
As a CBRE Facilities Sr. Manager, you will lead the operational management of a portfolio of Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical GMP/GXP buildings, overseeing building operations and maintenance.
What You’ll Do
- Provide formal supervision to employees. Track staff training and development, conduct performance evaluations and coaching, and oversee recruiting and hiring.
- Coordinate and develop the team’s daily activities, set and track schedules and deadlines, and mentor staff.
- Lead facility repairs and maintenance by working with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
- Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.
- Prepare and run large, high‑profile capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.
- Perform facility inspections and quality assurance following local, state, and federal regulations, and suggest operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities.
- Create and maintain environmental health and safety procedures.
- Develop vendor relationships, oversee invoicing procedures, and review purchase orders for parts, services, and labor.
- Lead by example, modeling CBRE RISE values, and influence others while following policies and departmental plans.
- Identify and solve complex technical and operational problems.
- Understand the broader impact across the department and improve existing methods, processes, and standards.
What You’ll Need
- Preferred bachelor’s degree with 5–8 years of relevant experience; experience plus education considered in lieu of a degree.
- Valid driver’s license required. Facility Management certification preferred.
- Experience in Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical GMP/GXP environments, and in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Strong communication skills to convey performance expectations and handle complex issues.
- Leadership skills to motivate the team toward broad operational targets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
