Position Function

Part time telephone interviewer will collect scientific data using a computer assisted telephone interviewing system in the Survey Research unit of the Social Science Research Center at Mississippi State University.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Part time telephone interviewer will collect scientific data using a computer assisted telephone interviewing system in the Survey Research Unit of the Social Science Research Center at Mississippi State University.

Minimum Qualifications

• Interviewers need basic computer/typing skills and have a good communication skills, be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent must be able to work weekends and evenings.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Good communication skills, basic computer/typing skills.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment. No or very limited exposure to physical risk. No or very limited physical effort required. Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.

Additional Information

Position is contingent upon continued availability of funding.
