Essential Function

• Nutrition Utility Worker performs food service delivery and sanitation work within a hospital setting.
• Work involves assistance to cooks, dieticians and other personnel in performing a variety of patient, cafeteria and catering food preparation, service and sanitation duties.
• Employees in this classification are required to observe established sanitary standards in the housekeeping of the work area in the cleaning of related equipment utensils and in personal hygiene.
• Work is performed under the general supervision of cooks, dieticians or other supervisory personnel who inspect work in progress and review results obtained.
