As a Production Scheduler at MANN+HUMMEL, you will forecast, plan, and schedule the daily workflow based on customer orders and inventory, ensuring efficient product movement and meeting safety and quality goals.

Responsibilities

  • Forecast, plan, and schedule production workflow based on customer orders.
  • Collaborate with Production Supervisors to define priorities in the production schedule.
  • Release product to the appropriate department.
  • Utilize company ERP system to create and analyze reports to determine best scheduling methods.
  • Closely monitor job progress from creation to completion.
  • Enter inventory information and confirm physical inventory when needed.
  • Analyze and evaluate inventory and delivery problems, recommending solutions.
  • Take a proactive approach to scheduling methodologies to identify potential conflicts throughout the different phases of production, minimizing errors and maximizing customer experience.
  • Provide data as required to forecast estimates and schedules of goods in process and future order needs.
  • Ensure safety and quality goals are met.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree in Business or related discipline preferred).
  • 2+ years of scheduling experience in a manufacturing operation setting.
  • Forward thinker, self‑starter, motivated, dependable.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel (pivot tables, V‑Lookup). Requires prior experience with ERP system (SAP beneficial).
  • Ability to read and write reports; understand and follow instructions, product labels, safety rules, operation and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and schedules.
  • Acute observation skills to ensure safety.
  • Effective communication: speaking, writing, active listening, and ability to take instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Physical: able to push, pull, and lift 50 lbs.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
