MANN+HUMMEL
As a Production Scheduler at MANN+HUMMEL, you will forecast, plan, and schedule the daily workflow based on customer orders and inventory, ensuring efficient product movement and meeting safety and quality goals.
Responsibilities
Forecast, plan, and schedule production workflow based on customer orders.
Collaborate with Production Supervisors to define priorities in the production schedule.
Release product to the appropriate department.
Utilize company ERP system to create and analyze reports to determine best scheduling methods.
Closely monitor job progress from creation to completion.
Enter inventory information and confirm physical inventory when needed.
Analyze and evaluate inventory and delivery problems, recommending solutions.
Take a proactive approach to scheduling methodologies to identify potential conflicts throughout the different phases of production, minimizing errors and maximizing customer experience.
Provide data as required to forecast estimates and schedules of goods in process and future order needs.
Ensure safety and quality goals are met.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree in Business or related discipline preferred).
2+ years of scheduling experience in a manufacturing operation setting.
Forward thinker, self‑starter, motivated, dependable.
Highly organized and detail oriented.
Strong computer skills, including Excel (pivot tables, V‑Lookup).
Requires prior experience with ERP system (SAP beneficial).
Ability to read and write reports; understand and follow instructions, product labels, safety rules, operation and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and schedules.
Acute observation skills to ensure safety.
Effective communication: speaking, writing, active listening, and ability to take instructions.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Physical: able to push, pull, and lift 50 lbs.
Authorized to work in the United States.
