Job Description: Supports the production of high-quality parts by verifying part specifications throughout the manufacturing process.

Location: Carol Stream, Illinois, USA

Essential Job Functions

  • Perform visual inspections of in‑process components to ensure compliance with specifications, report discrepancies to the Quality or Production Supervisor.
  • Identify and separate non‑conforming parts, tagging baskets with appropriate rejection labels as needed.
  • Record inspection outcomes by completing logs and reports, summarizing rework and scrap, and documenting data on designated quality forms.
  • Maintain functionality of measurement equipment by adhering to operating procedures and initiating repair requests when necessary.
  • Promote a safe and compliant work environment by following established safety protocols and adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Operate forklifts and power walkies as required to support production and logistics.
  • Assist in operating production lines when needed to maintain workflow and output.
  • Conduct on‑site visual and gauge‑based verification of product quality.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Starting Wage

$20.00 per hour. The company also offers a 2nd shift differential of $2.00 per hour and a 3rd shift differential of $3.00 per hour. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job‑related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Proficiency in basic computer operations, including barcode scanners, inventory software, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong foundational math skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with standard workplace safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to conduct fast and precise visual inspections.
  • Skilled in operating specialized tools and machinery for product testing.
