Overview

We're reinventing parking to make everyday experiences remarkable by giving back time to people. The Customer Service Representative plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless parking experience, assisting customers, and maintaining a clean, safe environment for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure customers have a seamless parking experience and facilitate the expedient flow of traffic through the facility.
  • Assist customers in making payments to fully automated revenue control equipment.
  • Go above and beyond to deliver an exceptional client and customer experience guided by the SP+ Promise.
  • Assist in day‑to‑day operations of the assigned location and conduct facility audits as required.
  • Monitor parkers in pay‑in lanes and provide directions to city locations.
  • Handle customer complaints independently or with supervisor aid.
  • Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the facility, pick up trash, and keep common areas by entrances and exits tidy.
  • Present yourself professionally in uniform, maintain a neat appearance, and arrive on time for scheduled shifts.
  • Perform other necessary functions as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with automated parking access control hardware and software, or a high aptitude for technology.
  • Availability for 2nd shift, 3rd shift and/or weekends as required.
  • Valid state‑issued driver’s license if required to drive a company vehicle.
  • Mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply and divide; make change.
  • Language skills: read, write and interpret English; present information effectively.
  • Reasoning ability: apply common sense; handle standardized problems.
  • Adaptability: handle changes, delays, unexpected events.
  • Judgment: exhibit sound judgment.
  • Other skills: use clock, calculator or credit card machine; maintain a pleasant demeanor on telephone and in person; proactive, strong customer service skills; willingness to work flexible schedule.
  • Physical demands: frequent standing, walking, using hands, reaching; vision for close tasks; tolerate moderate‑to‑loud noise and vehicle emissions; weather exposure.

Salary Range

$17.39 per hour
