About This Role At Bohler, we recognize that our future starts on campus. The students we connect with today will become the engineers, leaders, and innovators who shape our communities for years to come. As a University Relations Specialist, you will lead Bohler’s university recruiting and early talent engagement initiatives nationwide. Your role will involve identifying emerging talent, building meaningful relationships with students, and creating experiences that guide them from their first career conversation to full-time success.

This position focuses on connecting students with opportunities, education, and experiences, as well as campus life and careers. Please note that regular travel, including some overnight stays, to college campuses, recruiting events, and career fairs, is expected during the fall and spring hiring seasons.

We’re getting a head start! Our target hire date for this position is late January or early February, but we’re excited to start meeting great candidates now. If this timeline works for you, please apply.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate and execute campus recruiting events, career fairs, and university presentations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with universities, faculty, and student organizations.
  • Source college and early-career talent through recruiting channels and professional networks.
  • Oversee the internship program lifecycle, onboarding, events, check-ins, and exit interviews.
  • Communicate with students and hiring managers to ensure a positive, inclusive candidate experience.
  • Track competitive intern trends, conversion rates, and key metrics to inform strategy.
  • Collaborate with HR and Talent Acquisition leaders to evolve Bohler’s university relations strategy.
  • Represent Bohler’s culture and brand through every interaction with students and on campus.

What We Offer

  • A people-first culture built on connection, collaboration, and growth.
  • The opportunity to shape early-talent programs that impact the future of the AEC industry.
  • Hybrid flexibility and full travel support for campus recruiting seasons.
  • Professional development and mentorship within a supportive, innovative environment.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in campus recruiting, university relations, or early-talent programs.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with recruiting software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively during peak campus recruiting seasons.
  • Creative, proactive, and organized approach to event planning and problem-solving.

If you’re ready to build relationships, design experiences, and help shape the next generation of engineering talent, we’d love to meet you. Let’s shape the future together.
