Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shop Expediter to join our dynamic team in Deerfield Beach, FL. As a vital link between our production floor and management, you will play a key role in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials and products through the shop floor.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust priorities as necessary to meet deadlines.
• Communicate with team members and management to ensure clarity on project status and requirements.
• Assist in resolving any production issues or delays in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities.
• Participate in production meetings to discuss production priorities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred. Familiarity with metal cutting machinery, such as CNC mills, lathes, grinding, saws, deburring, and honing.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems (preferably Epicor).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
