Pay Range: $22.00 - $30.25
Position Summary: The responsibilities of the Advanced Manufacturing Technician are to assist the laboratory staff with the process of building and manufacturing science products. This position will assist with a variety of tasks within a laboratory setting that may include filling containers with product, setting up and running automated bottling machine, labeling product, and recording data. This position offers 1st shift hours of 8:00 am‑4:30 pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex manufacturing processes and procedures to produce high‑quality products.
- Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment and instruments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and process issues.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control and research and development, to ensure that production targets are met.
- Ensure that all manufacturing processes are conducted in accordance with quality and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of manufacturing processes and product specifications.
- Train and mentor junior manufacturing technicians.
- Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent and up to 2 years of relevant experience.
- Associate degree preferred with up to 1 year of relevant experience.
- 4‑year science degree with no experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment where multitasking is required.
- Works independently with minimal supervision on routine tasks.
- Ability to support and help others in the team.
- Knowledge of work performed by the department and learning how to perform multiple functions within the department.
- Flexibility to work on multiple tasks with increased effectiveness.
- Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must work well both independently and in a team environment.
