Join a Leading Hematology/Oncology Team as a Hematology/Oncology Physician

Required Skills:
- Board certification in Hematology and Oncology
- MN medical license (or IMLC accepted)
- DEA certification
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience
- Proficiency in malignant hematology procedures
- Experience with inpatient care and taking call as needed
- Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Epic
- Ability to support 30-40 patients per day, with shared caseloads
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in solid tumor oncology
- Prior work in hospital and infusion center settings
- Advanced knowledge of infusion therapies
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Proven track record in hematology/oncology practice
- Previous experience with emergency privileges and fast credentialing
Other Requirements:
- MN medical license required; IMLC accepted
- Must obtain emergency privileges if credentialing exceeds 90 days
- Willingness to work scheduled hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with on-call shifts (20 hours per week)
- Ability to provide inpatient coverage, including weekends as necessary
- Valid DEA and BLS certificates
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to patient care at Abbott Northwestern & Allina Health Cancer Institute in Minneapolis. The contract is initially for 3-6 months with the possibility of extension or potential permanent placement. Compensation is offered at an hourly rate of $463.13.
