Assignment OverviewSchedule: Monday Friday
FTE: Full-time coverage
Setting: Hospital pathology laboratory
Gross examination of biopsies and complex surgical specimens
Perform and stain frozen sections
Proper allocation of medical renal and muscle biopsies
Work closely with histology and grossing teams to ensure workflow efficiency
Approximately cases per day
Roughly blocks daily
Case mix includes surgical excisions and biopsies
No rounding required
Dedicated Grossing Technician & Histology Technicians
EMR systems in place to support efficient documentation and workflow
Certified Pathologist Assistant (PA-ASCP) Required
Board Certification Required
Must be comfortable with frozen sections and complex resections
Availability for the full assignment timeframe is strongly preferred
