Control Tower
Engi
neer to join the Control Tower & Field Quality team at the Headquarters & Technical Center in Auburn Hills, MI.
T
he
Control Tower
Engineer
is responsible for
identifying
,
creating
and triaging warranty issues,
working closely with engineering, supplier quality,
manufacturing
and service teams to analyze parts and vehicles
in order to
resolve warranty issues for our customers
. Opportunities are available in the
Vehicle Engineering (VEHE) Control Tower team
, which
is responsible for
body, chassis,
interior
and mechatronics warranty issues.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead t
he identification of warranty related issues -
–
through part analysis and vehicle
reviews;
the Control Tower Engineer is a
ccountable for
initial
problem-solving, proposed responsible functional area and
clean point
validation
.
Propose triage recommendations based on combined data and physical insights
for resolution by downstream teams.
Support governance of the warranty issue through its lifecycle
