Position: Head of Workplace Experience, Safety & Security
The Head of Facilities, Safety, and Security is responsible for optimizing workplace environment and employee experience and for developing, implementing, and overseeing Monogram Health's safety and security strategies across clinical and office environments. This role ensures the protection of employees, patients, facilities, and assets while fostering a culture of safety and compliance. The position requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to maintain a secure and resilient organization. This leader will drive the integration of security measures with essential facilities management operations to ensure a seamless and safe working environment. Location:
Onsite – Brentwood, TN Roles and Responsibilities:
Facilities Management & Operational Safety:
Manage physical workplaces and services – including vendor management, landlord management, etc. Manage workplace safety and security on-site and in-home Develop policy and protocols working with clinical and operational leadership Ensure the physical environment of all Monogram Health facilities, including offices and clinical sites, are engaging, clean, organized, safe and secure. Oversee maintenance and upgrades of site infrastructure, such as alarms, locks, and monitoring systems. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations (e.g., OSHA), ensuring the functionality, comfort, safety, and efficiency of the built environment. Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans and reporting. Integrate security protocols into routine facilities operations and project management, such as new office build-outs or renovations. Manage facility-related projects and improvements, ensuring all safety and security requirements are met and documented. Negotiate and maintain leases, working with finance and functional leadership
Clinical and Office Security:
Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols for clinical and office settings. May work with vendor/consultant. Oversee the implementation of security systems, including surveillance, access control, and emergency response mechanisms. Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements. May work with vendor. Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure patient safety and compliance with healthcare regulations. Manage relationships with local law enforcement and emergency services to enhance security measures.
Leadership and Collaboration:
Act as a subject matter expert on safety, security, and facilities-related compliance for senior leadership and other departments. Prepare and present regular reports on safety and security metrics to the executive team. Foster a culture of safety awareness and accountability across the organization.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in facilities, safety and security roles, preferably in healthcare or corporate environments. Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA standards. Proven leadership skills with experience managing in a matrix environment, managing volume, and cross-functional projects.
