A quick snapshot… As Conga’s Chief Information Security Officer, you’ll lead the company’s global security strategy and execution across our cloud‑native, multi‑tenant SaaS platform. This role blends strategic leadership with hands‑on influence, partnering closely with Engineering, Product, Legal, Compliance, and Executive Leadership to ensure security is embedded into how Conga builds, operates, and scales.

You’ll be responsible for protecting customer trust, managing enterprise risk, and enabling the business to grow securely and confidently.

In this role, your leadership will directly influence:

How we architect and secure our SaaS platform

How we balance risk, usability, and business impact

How customers, auditors, and partners experience Conga’s security posture

Your work will enable faster decision‑making, stronger customer confidence, and scalable growth, making security a true business enabler.

Are you the person we’re looking for? Leadership & Mindset You’re a strategic security leader who understands how to balance trust, risk, and business impact in a cloud‑native SaaS environment. You’re comfortable operating at both the executive and technical levels, translating complex security concepts into clear, actionable insights for executives, boards, customers, and cross‑functional partners. You build strong, collaborative relationships across Engineering, Product, Operations, and Compliance, helping teams stay aligned and move forward together.

You thrive in fast‑paced, evolving environments and bring a thoughtful, pragmatic approach to security that protects customers and the business while enabling innovation and scale.

Related Experience

Proven security leadership experience, with 10+ years in information security and at least 5 years in senior leadership roles

Deep experience securing cloud‑native SaaS platforms, including multi‑tenant environments

Private Equity experience. You’ve operated in a private equity–backed environment and understand the pace, rigor, and expectations that come with value creation, operational discipline, and scaling for growth.

Technical Expertise

Strong cloud and DevSecOps expertise across platforms such as AWS, Azure, and/or GCP

Hands‑on ownership of enterprise risk and compliance programs, including frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and modern privacy regulations

Differentiating Experience You’ll stand out by bringing additional depth and perspective that strengthens how security supports the business at scale.

Experience in high‑growth or startup SaaS environments, where adaptability and sound judgment are essential

A background building or scaling global security and compliance programs

Relevant security certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, or cloud security credentials

Additional depth in security architecture, penetration testing, or threat intelligence

You’re also comfortable representing security in customer‑facing or sales‑support contexts, helping build trust and credibility externally.
