Full‑time hourly position. Shift(s) available: 1st shift Mon‑Fri during training; thereafter backshifts based on availability. Possible shifts: 2nd shift Wed‑Sun 3 PM‑11 PM, 3rd shift Fri‑Tue 11 PM‑7 AM, Relief shift Mon/Tue 3 PM‑11 PM, Wed/Thu 11 PM‑7 AM. Off Fri/Sat. Must be able to work any shift, overtime, weekends, holidays with advance notice. Shift schedule includes 8‑, 10‑, or 12‑hour shifts on rotational or swing schedules.

Job Summary The Maintenance/Millwright supports preventive and failure‑based maintenance as required by plant needs. Works to accomplish day‑to‑day operations priorities, resolves related problems, and assists with reliability troubleshooting.
Essential Job Functions
Repair or troubleshoot equipment of varying types
Repair belt and chain drive assemblies
Proficient welding skills with wire techniques
Proficient in field fabrication and construction
Basic knowledge of hand tools
Basic knowledge of equipment alignments/PMs
Basic knowledge of shop machinery helpful
Forklift driving experience helpful
Watch for and report all safety issues
Follow all GMP and HACCP policies
Requirements
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment or strong mechanical background: minimum 3‑5 years hands‑on maintenance and/or millwright experience
Technical school training as mechanic or equivalent, highly desired
Willingness to take formal trade school courses as selected by ADM management and during the training period
Regular and prompt attendance, maintaining record in accordance with company policy
Experience in manufacturing, production, and/or similar environments (preferred)
Minimum age 18 years
Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Ability to understand and communicate in English, verbal and written
High School diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Preferred Skilled, Not Required
Basic welding, layout, and fabrication skills
Experience with V‑belt and chain drive
Machine troubleshooting and repair skills
Experience with 480 V – 3 phase motor circuits
Hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge a plus
Knowledge of HVAC systems and/or electrical background
On‑The‑Job Training Requirements
Undergo on‑the‑job training to acquire skills and certifications, assessed by established standards
Complete ADM safety, food safety, quality, and environmental training
Participate in company planner operations training
Equipment training may include JLP, forklift, non‑DOT truck, reach lift, lock‑out/tag‑out, etc.
Physical Requirements
Move about or to a work site by ascending/descending stairs, bending, kneeling, prolonged standing and sitting, stooping, kneeling, or squatting frequently
Operate equipment or machinery at heights; may require work on ladders, scaffolding, or in confined spaces
Lift and transport materials and equipment up to 40 lb frequently, up to 55 lb occasionally, and up to 50 lb overhead
Wear respirators as required
Walk up to two (2) miles during a workday over uneven ground and/or railroad tracks
Working Conditions
Ambient conditions – non‑air‑conditioned production environment; hot or cold temperatures, all seasonal elements, both indoors and outdoors
Atmosphere: dust (peanut allergen), cotton, canola seed, odor
Noise may reach or exceed 85 dB; hearing protection required for most of shift
Company‑provided protective clothing required: uniforms, hard hats, earplugs, safety glasses, hair restraints, steel‑toed shoes, gloves, safety harness as required
Pay & Benefits Base pay: $28.86/hour for the position plus $1.50 shift differential.
