TEKsystems is seeking a highly motivated
Desktop Support Technician
for a 6+ month onsite contract in Dodgeville, WI. This role requires a proactive IT professional with strong technical expertise in Microsoft device management and exceptional interpersonal skills. You will provide advanced Level 2-3 support, manage device lifecycle tasks, and deliver outstanding user experiences in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
Deliver
Level 2-3 support
for desktops and mobile devices using remote and onsite solutions.
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Microsoft technologies:
Azure AD / Entra ID
Microsoft Intune
for compliance and lifecycle management
Windows 11 Pro/Enterprise
Support
MacOS
devices in mixed environments.
Handle hardware setup, repair, and lifecycle tasks for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, VoIP phones, and conferencing gear.
Provide expert assistance with
Microsoft 365 apps
(Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
Maintain accurate records in
ServiceNow
or similar ITSM platforms.
Manage asset inventory and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
Collaborate with users at all levels, ensuring clear communication and positive engagement.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and user experience.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years in help desk or deskside support roles.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft ecosystem (Azure/Entra, Intune, O365).
Solid troubleshooting skills for Windows 11 and MacOS.
Familiarity with enterprise-scale device management and networking fundamentals.
Experience with remote support tools (RDP, TeamViewer, etc.).
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing environments.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills – able to build trust and rapport quickly.
Demonstrated initiative and ownership in problem‑solving and project execution.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 – $28.00/hr.
