Healthcare organization is seeking an HR Generalist on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of HR experience. Workday experience is required. Contract role to start with the potential to go permanent.
Pay rate: $32 - $38/hr (depending on experience)
Hybrid schedule: 2-3 days/week onsite
Responsibilities:
Manage recruitment processes, including posting job openings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews. Administer employee benefits programs, ensuring accurate enrollment and addressing employee inquiries. Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions for employees. Maintain and update employee records in Workday, ensuring data accuracy and compliance. Support payroll activities, including data entry and resolving discrepancies. Assist with immigration processes, including documentation and compliance tracking. Participate in performance management and compensation reviews, providing insights and recommendations. Lead HR-related projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Requirements:
Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Human Resources or related field required. Minimum of 2 years of HR experience; 5 years preferred. Proficiency in HR systems, specifically Workday, is essential. Strong knowledge of benefits administration, time and absence management, and onboarding processes. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for managing HR operations. Ability to analyze employee data and provide actionable insights. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with employees and stakeholders.
