Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Product Director, US Oncology Portfolio – Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) and Health Information Technology Strategy located in Horsham, PA.
This position within the Oncology Portfolio Strategy & Execution Team will be responsible for shaping and executing the Pan‑Oncology customer solution strategy for Group Purchasing Organizations/Enterprise Distributor services, and Health IT/digital health. The role requires close coordination with cross‑functional partners such as Brand Marketing, Global Commercial Data Science, Strategic Customer Group (SCG), Business Analytics, Medical Affairs and Real‑World Value & Evidence, Key Account Management field teams, outside vendors, and more to effectively execute key commercial activities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Oncology Franchise GPO & Enterprise Distributer Services strategy in collaboration with Brand and SCG teams to identify, segment and prioritize engagements
Build comprehensive Strategy for Integrated Oncology networks (ex: US Oncology, One Oncology, AON) and ED/GPO partnerships (ex: McKesson, Cencora, Cardinal)
Identify current and future ED/GPO capabilities, care-abouts and insights comprehensive of performance, drivers, investments, and levels of control
Identify customer facing synergies between ED/GPOs and Janssen Oncology field teams
Support ED/GPO contract & Fee-For-Services pull-through in collaboration across 10 brands
Partner closely with GPO & Enterprise Distributer Services/Trade internal and field facing teams to align on the strategy
Lead Franchise Health Information Technology/Digital Health strategy in collaboration with Brand and cross‑functional teams to identify, segment and prioritize EHR interoperable tools and capabilities that would be of high interest to customers
Build focused EHR integration guides to support population health level goals that improve patient outcomes and quality of care for J&J oncology disease states
Support field execution and implementation via Key Account and Health IT Specialist teams
Support development of next generation capabilities including potential third partner partnerships
Be seen as an expert in EHR patient and provider solutions; develop understanding of the Health IT landscape including relevant HIT inter‑relationships of the players within the Health IT space – vendors, third‑party data sources, etc.
Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor’s is required.
A minimum of 7 years business experience is required.
At least 3 years of successful and progressive experience in Sales, Marketing, Managed Care Account Management, Pricing and/or related fields is required.
Practical knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing that includes FDA regulatory and legal environment and HCC regulations is required.
Experience in GPO strategy or Digital Health/HIT/Health Informatics fields is preferred.
Experience in Oncology is preferred.
Must be innovative, proactive, and strong analytically with excellent overall business acumen.
Must be capable of managing and prioritizing multiple priorities.
Must demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a matrix and unstructured environment.
Interpersonal flexibility to effectively interact with a broad range of personnel. Advanced communication and presentation skills required.
This position is located in Horsham PA and requires up to 20% travel predominantly domestically with limited international travel.
