Accounts Payable Specialist
Compensation:
Up to $65K (bonus eligible), annual merit increases, excellent benefits
Schedule:
ON SITE - Monday–Friday, standard business hours (in-office)
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding, reconciliation, and payment. This role supports strong vendor relationships and works closely with internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
Responsibilities
Process and code high-volume invoices using an ERP system and document management software
Review, verify, and clear OCR-scanned invoices daily with high accuracy
Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation
Resolve vendor discrepancies, late invoices, and employee reimbursements
Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding invoice and payment status
Research and resolve accounts payable issues and ledger discrepancies
Support process improvements and assist with special projects as assigned
Qualifications
5+ years of accounts payable experience
Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills (with accurate data entry)
Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Flexibility to support occasional extended hours if needed
