Job Summary
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing the company's vendor invoices and payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and supporting the finance team with reconciliations and reporting.
Base Pay Range $50,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Review, verify, and process vendor invoices in compliance with company policies.
Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts.
Prepare and execute weekly payment runs (checks, ACH, wire transfers).
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records.
Respond to vendor inquiries and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Assist with month‑end closing and provide necessary reports to the accounting team.
Support audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed.
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
Experience:
2+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
