My client is a Detroit‑based general contractor specializing in complex projects across the Midwest. Key Responsibilities

Oversee all phases of K‑12 construction projects, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Lead and mentor project teams, including project engineers, assistant PMs, and superintendents.

Collaborate with school districts, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on project goals.

Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, contracts, and change orders.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations at all times.

Foster long‑term client relationships through communication, trust, and performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

8+ years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years managing K‑12 construction projects.

Strong background in budgeting, scheduling, and client management.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar).

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
