Warehouse Inventory Manager

About this opportunity We are now looking for a Warehouse Inventory Manager to be the first line support for inventory control. Key aspects of the role are to lead warehouse in global process alignment, warehouse operator training, provide guidance on best inventory practices, and use careful analysis to define and solve complicated problems that drive supply chain efficiencies. The ideal candidate for this role is someone with a demonstrated track record of providing functional support for improving inventory efficiencies. This individual must have great knowledge of standard inventory processes, direct the workflow of the inventory team, ensure inventory accuracy is kept, and discrepancies are solved to prevent disruption of the supply chain.
Responsibilities
Understand root cause analysis, review results, and develop corrective action plan with management to ensure inventory accuracy.
Collaborate with production, quality, engineering, and finance to identify gaps, ordering requirements, and stock levels for indirect, bulk, and maintenance material.
Facilitate department audits and daily cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
Develop and manage inventory metrics to measure material movement and trends.
Conduct detailed hands‑on training to all levels to ensure all inventory best practices, work instructions, and process flows are followed.
Identify inventory management process gaps, develop, and implement new inventory processes including corrective actions to drive compliance.
Complete other duties, including special projects, as assigned by management.
Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to research and resolve.
Other duties maybe assigned to support warehouse operations.
Management of the procurement and storage of all indirect materials.
Creating reports and monitoring metrics to determine inventory trends, accuracy, and health.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
Good understanding of intra‑department functions and operations.
Positive conflict and change management skills.
Be a self‑starter, optimally work in a fast‑paced and ever‑changing work environment.
Strong communication, project management, teamwork, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
Advanced Microsoft Office capabilities (Visio, PowerPoint, Project, Excel, Word, Outlook).
Software experience: V‑Manage/EWM/MODI Software/SAP/WCS/Apriso/CMMS.
Adept at multi‑tasking and work prioritization; thrives in an environment of rapid change.
3‑5 years of experience in an Inventory Management Role.
Strong process improvement training in Lean Six Sigma or other comparable methodology required.
