Location: Torrington, CT (with flexibility across New Haven, Middlesex, New London, Windham, Tolland, Hartford, and Litchfield counties)

Coverage Type: Clinical Only
Coverage Period: 11/01 31/2026
Clinical Shift Schedule: Flexible; emphasis on weekends, Monday and Friday shifts preferred; may split day between two sites COVERAGE DATES

FACILITY INFORMATION Office Equipment Available: Standard urgent care clinical equipment Reason for Coverage: Ongoing coverage need
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Travel, lodging and malpractice covered.
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: No REQUIRED PROCEDURES Suturing / Wound Care / Incision & Drainage Splinting Reading X-rays / EKGs Drawing blood Pediatric care Working independently in urgent care setting
JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active Connecticut license required Board certification required DEA BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS preferred Othe qualifications: case logs and procedure history for past 12 months; Must indicate number of patients seen per 12-hour shift and last performed procedures Experience: Experience in urgent care and/or emergency medicine required; experience managing full 12-hour shifts; must be able to travel 45+ minutes and adjust to schedule/site changes, local providers preferred (no flights provided).
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide independent urgent care across various Connecticut counties Flex between multiple clinic sites within a single shift as needed Deliver timely and high-quality care to a range of patients, including pediatric through geriatric Perform minor procedures such as suturing, splinting, and reading imaging studies Collaborate with scheduling team to meet dynamic staffing needs
