Position Summary The Accounting Clerk supports the accounting department by performing routine financial and clerical tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, data entry, and record maintenance. This role helps ensure accurate financial reporting, efficient daily operations, and compliance with company policies.
Essential Functions
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Enter and maintain accurate financial data in accounting systems
Review, code, and process invoices and expense reports
Prepare and issue customer invoices and apply payments
Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer accounts
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
Maintain organized and complete financial records and documentation
Respond to vendor and customer inquiries regarding billing or payments
Assist with audits by preparing requested documentation
Perform general administrative support related to accounting functions
Education
Associate / Bachelor’s degree in related field or High School Diploma / GED and 3 years relevant business experience
Experience
3 + years of professional service in accounting / finance is preferred, but not required.
Physical Demands
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Ability to learn and function within B+W’s ERP system, Label Traxx
Detail oriented.
Planning / organizational skills.
