This Manager of Global Sourcing role is responsible for leading strategic sourcing initiatives with a strong emphasis on indirect spend categories, including services, MRO, logistics, professional services, IT, and other non‑production goods and services. The supply base is primarily located in North America, with select global supplier relationships. This role partners closely with Business Units and Global Sourcing colleagues to drive value through supplier selection, contract negotiation, spend analysis, and supplier relationship management. The ideal candidate brings a strategic mindset, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to influence stakeholders across the organization.

Duties/Responsibilities

Serve as the primary sourcing and supply chain liaison between key Business Units and the Global Sourcing organization to ensure alignment between procurement strategies and business objectives.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of indirect sourcing needs, demand drivers, and operational requirements.

Own and manage strategic sourcing initiatives across multiple indirect spend categories, with potential oversight of select direct spend commodities as needed.

Develop and execute category strategies using market intelligence, supplier benchmarking, pricing drivers, risk assessments, and internal/external influences.

Perform detailed spend analysis to identify sourcing opportunities, consolidation strategies, and cost optimization initiatives.

Build and maintain ethical, strategic supplier relationships that drive cost savings, service improvements, innovation, and operational efficiencies.

Apply Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) methodologies to evaluate supplier proposals and uncover both direct and indirect value opportunities.

Lead end‑to‑end sourcing activities, including requirements gathering, RFx development and execution, bid evaluation, supplier selection, and award recommendations.

Draft, negotiate, and administer complex supplier agreements focused on cost savings, risk mitigation, service levels, and long‑term value creation.

Ensure supplier compliance with contractual terms, performance expectations, and company policies.

Identify, capture, track, and report cost savings, working capital improvements, and value creation initiatives.

Contribute to business system enhancements, sourcing tools, and process improvement initiatives.

Participate in cross‑functional continuous improvement projects and other strategic initiatives as assigned.

Ensure compliance with internal standards, policies, and procedures.

Skills/Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or in a related discipline.

5+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, with significant indirect spend responsibility.

Proven experience negotiating and managing complex supplier contracts and service agreements.

Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience in spend analysis and TCO modeling.

Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders at all levels.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience working with ERP and sourcing systems (SAP preferred).

Strong understanding of procurement best practices, category management, and supplier relationship management.
