Role Overview

As an IV Technician, you will play a vital role in administering intravenous vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients directly to our clients, helping them optimize their health and wellness. This role requires precise venous access skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality patient care. Position: IV Technician. Status: Part-Time, Full-Time. IV Administration: Start and monitor IV therapy, ensuring safe and effective fluid administration. Client Monitoring: Assess client’s physical health, including vital signs, and monitor their response to treatment. Infection Management: Prevent and manage infections associated with IV therapy. Assessment: Conduct physical assessments, including evaluating mental status, and identify any contraindications to IV therapy. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, therapy services, assessments, and treatment responses. Client Communication: Effectively communicate with clients about their therapy, ensuring they understand the process and feel comfortable throughout their treatment. Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations. Qualifications

Education/Certification: Credentialed as an RN (Registered Nurse) Required Knowledge:

Strong understanding of anatomy, medical terminology, and medical practice functions. Expertise in venous access with the ability to access peripheral veins.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in vascular access or IV infusion, with strong venous access skills. Skills:

Excellent intravenous catheter placement Strong interpersonal and communication skills Attention to detail and ability to multitask Customer service-oriented with a focus on patient confidentiality Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively Problem-solving abilities and independent judgment
