Job Requirements & Duties

Responsible for everything that happens during your shift—including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.

Set a positive example; follow all policy and procedures 100% of the time and expect the same from your crew.

Handle staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, scheduling, brand image, standards, customer service, attendance, punctuality, transportation, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability.

Advancement Many of our team members started as delivery drivers and now own Domino’s franchises. The path goes from delivery driver to manager to franchisee or corporate operations manager.

Qualifications

Operate all equipment.

Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.

Prepare product.

Receive and process telephone orders.

Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.

Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

Orientation and training provided on the job.

Strong communication skills: give correct written instructions, converse verbally with customers and co‑workers, and handle orders over the phone and in person.

Essential Functions / Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).

Make correct monetary change.

Verbal, written, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.

Motor coordination between eyes, hands, and fingers for rapid, precise movements.

Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Work Conditions Varying and sometimes adverse weather when removing trash or performing outside tasks; in‑store temperatures range from 36 to 90°F; short‑term temperature swings; fumes from food odors; cornmeal dust; cramped quarters, including walk‑in cooler; hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F; sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

Sensing

Talking and hearing on telephone.

Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.

Depth perception.

Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

Temperaments The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.

Physical Requirements

Standing (most tasks are performed from a standing position).

Walking (short distances and durations).

Lifting (up to 50 lbs for bulk deliveries, cases up to 3' x 1.5').

Carrying (large cans, pizza sauce, pizza dough trays up to 12 lbs).

Pushing/Shifting (using dollies for trays; force up to 7.5 lbs).

Climbing (infrequent stairs or ladders).

Stooping/Bending (at pizza assembly station).

Squatting for occasional stocking or cleaning low areas.

Reaching above 72″, down, and forward for various tasks.

Additional Information Eye‑hand coordination is essential; use hands continuously; frequent pinching required in pizza box assembly; grasping cans, phones, pizza cutters, and peels; ability to use pens, computers, telephones, calculators, and pizza equipment.

Driving Specific Duties

Deliver product by car and then to customer’s door.

Deliver flyers and door hangers.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.

Access to an insured vehicle suitable for delivery.

Driving skills: navigate maps, adverse terrain, multi‑story homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
