This is a great position for someone with a go getter attitude with or wanting to get into a Sales position.

This client is a logistics company out of Dallas, TX with a new branch in Birmingham, AL. They are seeking a driven Sales Executive to grow top-line revenue, expand market share, and increase bottom-line profitability.

This role is highly focused on new business development through outbound prospecting, relationship building, and consultative selling of expedited freight services.

Key Responsibilities & Objectives

Prospect and generate new business leads through research, outbound sales calls, and an existing database

Build and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities using the company CRM

Win new business and grow revenue through effective consultative selling

Manage and expand a portfolio of existing accounts to maximize customer spend

Collaborate with operations to develop tailored, sustainable, and profitable logistics solutions

Analyze customer data and market trends to strengthen sales strategies

Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets and weekly KPIs

Maintain accurate CRM records, including activity and pipeline updates

Communicate service offerings clearly and professionally to prospects and clients

Represent the company with a high-service, relationship-driven sales approach

Note: This role potentially requires two weeks of training at the company headquarters in Dallas, TX.

Qualifications & Experience

Strong work ethic with a hunger to learn and develop professionally

Experience in proactive sales, cold calling, or business development

Proven ability to generate your own leads (logistics or freight experience preferred)

Track record of working toward and achieving sales targets and KPIs

Excellent verbal communication, negotiation, and influencing skills

Strong organizational and administrative abilities with attention to detail

Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Confident, articulate, and professional demeanor

Base salary starting at

$50,000 per year

10% commission on gross margin generated

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
