Job Description: Possess ability to analyze and interpret key issues of all levels of complexity. Responsible for ownership of forecasting financial results using assumptions provided by management, developing financial models as needed, preparing and approving expenses, and managing the company’s budgeting software. Responsibilities
Exercise sound analytical judgment
Review and approve expense entries
Review division financial statements and work with respective departments on excessive variances vs budget and prior year
Produce financial models and forecasts as requested by management
File required reports with corporate and serve as a liaison with General Office (G.O) Finance
Assist the controller in annual compliance reporting
Prepare ad hoc reports of financial transactions into accurate timely reports, that provide meaningful information for operating management and/or comply with federal, state, and local regulations
Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
Qualifications
Minimum
Bachelor’s Degree analytical or technical field (e.g., Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Statistics, etc.)
2 years of financial experience with emphasis on forecasting and/or budgeting
Strong understanding of industry/technical terms and processes
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information
Strong follow-up and accountability skills
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail for identifying errors in calculations and reports
Ability to prioritize/multi-task while providing accurate/on-time results
Proficiency in various software packages, including but not limited to, Microsoft Office, Business Objects, and Smart view/Essbase reporting
Ability to perform statistical data analysis and analytical review
Ability to collaborate and work cooperatively in a team-based environment
